Onslaught ist eine britische Thrash-Metal-Band aus Bristol, gegründet Anfang der 1980er. Ursprünglich stark vom Punk beeinflusst, entwickelte sich ihr Stil schnell zu aggressivem, technisch versiertem Thrash mit düsterem, politischem und teils antireligiösem Einschlag. Ihr Debüt Power from Hell (1985) gilt als Kultklassiker, während The Force (1986) die Band international bekannt machte. Nach einer längeren Pause kehrten sie ab 2005 zurück und liefern seither kompromisslosen Old-School-Thrash mit moderner Wucht.

Since 2018, Tortured Demon have been launching a full-scale assault on the thrash scene. Led by Oldham brothers Jacob and Joe Parkinson, they’ve independently released two albums and appeared on countless shows and tours across the UK and Ireland. Before leaving school, the band performed a now infamous stage-wrecking set at Bloodstock Open Air 2021, appeared on touring packages with UK thrash veterans Evile and Xentrix, and laid the foundations of their second album ‘Rise of The Lifeless’ - which would later go on to receive critical acclaim from publications including Metal Hammer and Distorted Sound. Combining Thrash riffs and Hardcore breakdowns with technical drums, all whilst maintaining a firm focus on quality songwriting, Tortured Demon aim to breathe a breath of fresh air into the UK metal scene. The band have built a loyal live following nationwide thanks to their impressive history of high-octane shows for a band at such an early stage in their career, culminating in their explosive return to Bloodstock in 2023, and 'UK ASSAULT' headline tour in November 2024. This run brought 13 back-to-back shows, including a sold-out hometown show at Rebellion Manchester in front of over 450 fans. Tortured Demon take the next steps in their ever-accelerating career as they complete their highly anticipated 3rd album, expected to be released in 2026.
